On 7 and 8 July 2022, so many of the OU family came together to ensure that lives were transformed, and futures were rewritten through the power of education. Thank you so much to everyone for joining together and making it such a special 36 hours.

The 2022 Giving Day was a true testament to what can be achieved when the OU family comes together and an extraordinary £215,000 was raised, with over 1,475 donors supporting the amazing Open Futures Fund! 

It’s wonderful that so many of our alumni, students, staff and friends share the passion to keep education open to all. It is only through the collective power of philanthropy that the barriers so many face to accessing education can be broken down through scholarships and bursaries.

The impact of donor support during the 2022 Giving Day will be long lasting – helping to provide an OU education, a truly wonderful and life-changing gift. Together, the OU family have helped create futures full of hope and potential.
