Graduate Outcomes is the biggest UK annual social survey and captures the perspectives and current status of recent graduates.
All graduates who completed a course will be contacted by the OU and invited to take part in the survey 15 months after they finish their studies. The survey aims to help current and future students gain an insight into career destinations and development.
This survey is unique because it picks up with you over a year after you finished your studies. This allows you to reflect on the value your studies have played in your current activities, how this compares to your original plans and how you’re using skills you’ve picked up whilst in education. Only you will know if you left education with the skills and knowledge you needed to get you to where you are now.
We want to understand the graduate perspective and what success looks like for you following your time in higher education. Your responses will help your university or college to evaluate and promote their courses. We also want to understand the non-traditional routes that graduates are taking following education. Employment isn’t the only successful outcome: we want to know what you do, and really understand what you see as fulfilling.
You will receive your survey invitation around 15 months after you completed your course. Influence the future of education – be part of the picture.
