We are delighted to announce that this year’s Giving Day will be held from 9am on Thursday 4 July to 9pm on Friday 5 July, and will raise vital financial support for scholarships through the Open Futures Fund.

We are also incredibly excited to share with you that members of the OU donor family have already come forward and committed to providing amazing match and challenge funding opportunities to maximise the impact of donations received across the 36 hours. This means that donor support will go even further!

There are so many different ways for the OU family to get involved, whether it’s donating; helping to unlock lots of fun donor challenges; spreading the word to your family, friends and networks; or getting involved on social media, to name just a few. Together, we can achieve something truly special this year and send a message to future students that we believe in them, their potential and that we want to welcome them to the OU family.

The event will ensure disabled veterans, unpaid carers, Black students, those seeking sanctuary, and young people who have been in care, will have the opportunity to take the first steps in the next exciting chapter of their lives by becoming an OU student.
